Incompetent Boobs
Anh "Joseph" Cao must be doing backflips right now. Yesterday (in a runoff election) he defeated incumbent Democratic Congressman William Jefferson, who has been indicted on bribery and money laundering charges, in addition to misusing his congressional office.
This harkens back to John Taylor's (of Tertium Quids, not of Caroline) point - and begs the question: Remember the good ol' days when members of Congress might have been incompetent boobs, but were at least able to finish their terms in the People's House rather than the Big House?
